Joe Yu is a local magician with an international reputation. His fresh approach to magic and his cutting edge illusions have garnished him worldwide acclaim. Most notable among Joe's many awards are; 1st prize at the "Star Struck Talent Quest", Singapore Association of Magicians - Awards for various magic competitions, prize-winner for stage magic at Thailand Magic Convention and Joe was the first Singaporean to be selected by the Society of American Magicians for the International Magic Stage Contest 2006 (in Louisville, Kentucky), featuring world class magicians from all over the world!

Joe Yu was a guest star performer for the Festival of Magic Asia 2007 and proudly represented Singapore at the 1st and 2nd International Festival of Magic Competition in 2003 and 2005! Joe was the first local magician to be invited to Mumbai in 2006 to perform for many famous Bollywood movie stars including Shah Rukh Khan.

Magician Joe Yu has made numerous national and international performances worldwide, including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, Mumbai and U.S.A, his magic was also featured on several national and international television programs and commercial.

Joe Yu has entertained aboard five different cruise ships including the M/V Superstar Virgo a five star luxury cruise from Star Cruises. During his time on board, he met and entertained audiences from all over the world! This experience gained him a formidable reputation as a top-class entertainer on cruise ships in the Asia-Pacific region.

When Joe is at home he stays very busy performing at special events, private and public functions. He is often seen at birthday parties, theme parks, country clubs, other well known tourist spots, shopping malls, hotels, corporate events and resident committee functions; the list goes on and on. He has even performed for members of royal families and many government dignitaries.
